Indigestion is a digestive issue that causes symptoms such as pain or discomfort in the stomach with difficulty in digesting food. It is also called Dyspepsia or an upset stomach. There are many factors that can cause and trigger the symptoms of Indigestion. Sometimes the cause is not clear. However, certain things may trigger the symptoms of indigestion such as drinking too much alcohol, eating spicy or fatty foods, smoking, stress and anxiety and medicines such as aspirin and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines.
